Aprašymas

★ A heartbroken knight. A runaway bride. A love that is forbidden! ★

A Heartbroken Knight:

Frenchman, Sir Claude Montague returns to England still in love with Lady Rose after she has broken his heart eight years ago. She is now married and wants him by her side in her husband's absence as she gives birth to their first baby. Claude would do anything for Rose, and the only woman who can make him forget his feelings for her is Rose's new handmaid.

A Runaway Bride:

Lady Evelina du Pont leaves France and travels to England in disguise. She is running from an unwanted betrothal to an evil man. She wants time to make her own choice of a man to marry. Posing as a handmaid and nursemaid to Lady Rose, Evelina is intrigued by a man from her own land who doesn't seem to notice her, but only has eyes for Lady Rose. Claude is a knight and Evelina is nothing now but a servant. For a knight and servant to fall in love or even wed is highly forbidden.

Will a woman searching for a man to love, have her secret identity exposed by a knight who is living with a broken heart? Will the past and the future collide?

(This story features Claude who is seen in The Baron's Destiny: Barons of the Cinque Ports.)
