'Five Steps to Faith' gives a complete programme to offer enquirers, one that is parish-tested and works. It is designed to be used in the homes of enquirers, using film, Bible, open discussion and prayer. And people do come to faith.

The Five Steps are:

• Who or what is God?
• Who was Jesus?
• The Cross - a tragic mistake?
• Resurrection - can you believe it?
• Holy Spirit - presence and power?

There are follow-ons for those wanting to go further: Bible Ethics, Baptism, Confirmation, Communion.

Above all, rather than input from experts, 'Five Steps' uses questions and open discussion as guided exploration because that is how we learn.
