Her proposal isn’t sincere, but unfortunately for her, Shinpei loves as intensely as he kills. Can Satoko find a way to break the engagement without losing her life?

When Satoko’s father appears on Goddess Island, the Kirigaya family soldiers raise their guns one by one against Shinpei, shooting him right before Satoko’s eyes. Mitsueda is also shot, and countless others are wounded or killed. With her heart left deeply scarred, Satoko remains confined to her bed, unable to recover from the trauma—that is, until an unexpected person reaches out with a helping hand.
