Fear is everywhere-it is always the elephant in the room, silently shaping decisions, actions, and relationships. It doesn't discriminate; it impacts the young freshman stepping onto the field for the first time and torments seasoned coaches contemplating their futures. Fear permeates our culture, affecting sports, politics, families, and our hearts. The silent adversary lurks, waiting to trip us up, distract us, and rob us of peace and confidence.

The battle against fear can be fought and won with the right weapons. However, those weapons are not grit, bravado, or courage. The Bible clearly teaches us that the only true weapon against fear is love, specifically, the perfect love of Jesus Christ. Ron Brown will take you on a journey of how he overcame fear through the love Jesus Christ showed him by His sacrifice on the cross.

Ron Brown has a long-standing association with Husker football, where he served as an assistant coach for 24 seasons. In 2018, he became the Director of Player Support and Outreach for Nebraska football before taking on his current role of coaching punt returners, and fullbacks and assisting the running backs coach. He co-founded Kingdom Sports in 2018 and has been a well-known speaker at FCA and churches throughout his career.
