If he was good enough he could make the Major Leagues. That would be a lot better life than slaving for the Gryll doing field work. Jimmy had worked at learning baseball from his dad since he was five. That's when the farm team was started up by a coach named Pete. Jimmy had the skill and intelligence to become a major leaguer. However, Pete had other ideas.
