In Arkansas, the hope for a better future rests with a boy named Zane but both the shambling dead and a cruel gang intent to stop him from reaching Texas; not far away, Pascal choreographs dancing skeletons and leads an army of sadists. Along the way, people are taking sides and the showdown is destined to involve George's group of survivors. Beliefs will be tested as those who have survived the Red virus and zombie attacks realize that they are pawns in a deadly war to inherit the world.
