The current world is both hopeful and in crisis. Emotions are valuable in restoring energy to the world around us. Looking to the past is helpful. There is much we have forgotten and the world around us is only too happy to remind us creativity, human creativity together with nature provides us with colour, and with energy. How better to tell us about it than through poetry including the short and sweet haiku, the cinquain and free verse.
