Acclaimed contemporary artist El Anatsui (b. 1944) is renowned for his intricate large-scale sculptures across a range of media-from clay and wood to discarded materials such as bottle caps and cassava graters. Less well known are his inventive prints and paper works, which share an important relationship to his sculptural practice. Offering an overview of Anatsui's six decades of work on paper and aluminum, the book also includes a comprehensive catalogue of his prints.
