Linda and her brother were shocked and speechless, but neither cried. Linda constantly felt guilty. She confessed, "Nobody could have convinced me that it was not my fault." This memory was a low point in her life, and it has stuck with her ever since the parental suicide. Linda explained in the first interview the subsequent suicides in her family.
