This book presents the stories of ordinary people who were part of an extraordinary, "an open-minded, open-hearted" congregation in Birmingham, AL. Most of the eulogies presented here were for members of long standing, but a few of them focus on people brought to this church as their first stop in the afterlife. These eulogies strive to put all of their lives into biblical perspective and to share some of the rich theological resources of the Presbyterian Church USA regarding life and death.
