The author traces the world in its career from the time when "God saw everything that He had made and behold it was very good," on through the period while "the earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof," to the future glorious times when Christ says of His followers, "Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the World."
