This is the first volume of collected poems by Pheroze Nowrojee. Edited by Villoo Nowrojee, they span sixty years and multiple themes. From the Introduction: 'Nowrojee wrote with finesse...you can tell that he lingered over each line, each verse, caressing the words until they carried the right weight. In this collection there are deep, heart-wrenching reflections on social justice, violence, and political chicanery. There are also light-hearted [offerings]. Through his literary exploits, Nowrojee tried to make us better people, to make Kenya a better place. For that we remain in debt to him, thankful for his ideas and blessed to have this collection of poems to add to his other written words.'
