Adania Ulfdottir is thrust into the seat of leading Wolf Clan after her father's death. Unsure of herself she speaks with the higher ranking members of her clan to make sure she is leading them in the direction the clan needs to be going and training almost non stop to get her mind off the fact that her father has passed into Valhalla.

But raid after raid after raid begins to take its toll on her confidence and mental fortitude. Unable to take it anymore she grows angry and takes her anger out on the man who leads the charge in the last raid she ever wishes to deal with.

Odin has sent her the head of Dragon Clan, Brynjolf Drekkin. The dreams she had received from the gods had in no way prepared her for the man himself.
