Down The Angel (el. knyga) (skaityta knyga) | L. G. Lutyens | knygos.lt

Aprašymas

Three women. Three secrets. One murder that could undo them all.

Welcome to Ludlow, where three successful 'women of a certain age' live peacefully in a renovated mews called The Angel. Until early one morning, when an American romance writer is found dead in their fish pond.

Who was Amber J. Fannling, late of St Louis, Missouri? And what was she doing in Ludlow, in the middle of the night, in a private, locked, garden?

Diana, Jean, and Louisa, who each have secrets of their own, know all too well that in the absence of other leads they will become the focus of police attention. Unless they divert that attention elsewhere.

Past and present collide as the three old friends investigate, uncovering a terrible war time secret in the process. One so deadly that even today, someone will kill to keep it buried.

The first in The Ludlow Murders series, Down The Angel is perfect for readers who enjoyed Richard Osman's The Thursday Murder Club, Anthony Horowitz's Magpie Murders, and anything by Agatha Christie.
