It just simply evolved on its own accord, over a long period of time, and hey presto, here it is. Really?! Magic without a magician.
Everyone can have an opinion but there is an objective reality, or impartial truth. Truth doesn't care whether you agree with it or not. Though it is probably better that our opinion aligns with Truth. Otherwise we may believe in something entirely false and think it's true.
