I'm writing this business book about the digital transformation of healthcare because you need to know whatI've learned as a payer executive and physician entrepreneur who has been creating successful digital health companies. It consolidates the journey and knowledge I've acquired, and provides the20/20 vision of hindsight. In other words, there are things I wish I'd known when I started out as an innovator.I wish, for example, I would have spent more time understanding the healthcare payer space early on. It's a complex ecosystem and before partnering with a payer, it helps if healthcare tech companies understand how those payers think, sell, make a profit and build partnerships.
