Between 2018 and 2021, inspired by 19th-century photography, Diana Michener (born 1940) photographed human and animal bones in museum collections, realizing them in platinum prints. Bones recreates the look of these prints through offset printing on Somerset Book mold-made paper, each image interspersed with glassine leaves.
