Pondering on the word, deal, it comes to mind how we reach out to deal a hand of cards and seal the deal with a handshake. When the odds are against us, we sometimes turn inwards to avoid dealing with the past.

Kaly Jennings is stumbling down the path of grief after her mother passed away in September 2003.

There are offers of support and options for a fresh new start however who can Kaly trust. Temptation to cling on to the familiar is strong no matter how painful it is. Kaly tries to hide the heartache but body language reveals what is behind the scenes and tears can rarely be disguised.

You are invited to follow her and meet a cacophony of characters and look into a symphony of shadows. There is coercion, compassion and collusion. However, it is not always easy to see the difference through a veil of tears.

Brighter moments of banter and the scent of beautiful flowers amidst the rockery lifts spirits.
