At the heart of this book lies the internal division of reason itself: between its instrumental form, which produces, divides, organizes, inscribing the world within the logic of purpose, and its critical form, which reflects upon and seeks to transform its own determinations. Rather than opposing these dimensions, the book shows how both express a deeper dynamic: reason's restless drive to transcend its limits, a movement that defines the modern project and exposes its contradictions.
Through a systematic reassessment of Hegel's logic and its critical potential, this book argues that philosophy must be understood as a form of critical Bildung: a labor of reflection that resists the naturalization of its own forms and reopens the field of human possibility.
