Two years ago my partner Alain Leroy and I were sitting in our favourite country pub, Irby Mill on the Wirral, having a drink, when the germ of an idea hit us to write a book together - a comedy that will make you laugh from beginning to end..... Bruce Cooper, a Londoner now living in the Midlands, is married to Patty. They have two children; twins Bobby and Charlene. Bruce has worked in a metal factory for fifteen years and is now faced with redundancy. He buys a scratch card on the way home and gives it to his wife. They have won four million pounds. Even though Brexit is on the doorstep Patty decides to make a new life in Spain. But they get more than they bargain for. The house they buy is right in the middle of a Russian community - and they're not ordinary Russians.
