Contemporary World English Poets, an International Anthology of Poems and Paintings is an initiative from Paschim Banga English Academy. The Anthology features around seventy renowned poets and their powerful poems from all over the world. The book defines the issues like Children and Women abuse, Women Trafficking, Gender Biases, Voices of the Third Gender or Transgender and the Voices of the Marginalized in the context of the present day. The fact is that woman is still treated as secondary being and marginalization, Feminism and any other isms related to the Second Sex are only showcased in the pages of the books for intellectual debates. Poetry as a sublime art can be a significant medium for the voices of the marginalized.
