The juxtaposition of contemporary art from the Erling Kagge Collection and works from Kode's historical collection creates a dynamic, artistic dialogue across centuries and styles - Anne Imhof and Francisco Goya, Trisha Donnelly and Peder Balke, Tauba Auerbach and Synnøve Anker Aurdal, among others. Curated by Marta Kuzma, theorist, curator and Professor at Yale School of Art.

Erling Kagge is a Norwegian explorer, writer, and art collector. Exhibitions based on his collection have been shown at Astrup Fearnley Museet (Oslo), Santander Art Gallery (Madrid), Fondation Vincent van Gogh (Arles), and Museion (Bolzano).
