This story was inspired by my childhood fascination for science fiction movies of space travel. A friend and I would go to her house after school and play in her mother's closet. We would pretend that we were the captains of the space shuttle. We would visit and explore the planets.
And that is how this story came about. I wanted to share my imagination and adventures with my grandkids.
