This Level 2 I Can Read book is:

• Perfect for Developing Readers: The longer sentences and language play are proven to help kids who read on their own but still need a little help take their next steps toward success.
• Dual-Lingual: Spanish Words are sprinkled throughout the English story text and translated in a glossary.
• A Story That’s Doc McStuffins meets Dora the Explorer: With the nurture play pattern of Doc McStuffins plus the courage and Spanish word introductions of Dora the Explorer, this series is full of kindness, courage, family, problem solving, and social emotional learning.
• A Twist on Mexican Folklore: Mexican-American creators Laekan and Sara take a twist on Mexican folklore in this series by portraying cucuys as misunderstood and wrongly feared creatures instead of the folklore's monsters that are going to get you if you misbehave.
• A Strong Role Model: Young readers will feel empowered to work hard to achieve their goals and overcome their fears in the face of adversity just like Clara!
