Life did not always bring easy days for the new widow. Frustrations abounded, but her innate resilience made her do things she had never tackled before. Only as last resort, she asked for help from friends. Eva was fortunate to have many circles of friends and beloved family members, though most of the latter lived thousands of miles away. She also know that, in order to keep friendship and family ties alive, she had to do her part. "You have to give, if you want to receive" was her motto. And no day went by on which she did not thank God for keeping his watchful eye on her and for blessing her with circles of friendship and love.
