Christmas and New Years come but once a year and it is a time for us to try to celebrate especially if we are with those we love and who love us. We go shopping for those whom we care. If we have time we choose presents and hope that this is "just what they wanted".The author, Richard I. Gold, has been writing poems for many years and has chosen these to celebrate the season. He was born in Bartow, Florida and has seen many Christmas seasons. The time is special to him and he has many, many good memories of this. He hopes that these poems will speak to the reader (you) and help you remember your good memories.
