The analysis is conducted through a comparison with the regulatory and supervisory approaches under the EUs Solvency II regime, which serve as a point of reference to facilitate the determination of the foregoing weaknesses and the corresponding resolutions. Dr. Wenyu Qian, LL.M. specialises in insurance and banking law. He has researched into financial law at the universities in Frankfurt and Shanghai for years. His current research interest is in insurance regulation.
