Make your move. I was 23 years old when I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. After (another) manic tear through finances, promiscuity, profanity, and violence, I was hospitalized and diagnosed. I was in total denial. I thought my strategy of refining my model-beautiful looks, raw musical talent, marketing and promotions prowess, and obtaining my Masters degree would allow me to escape the truth of my condition. I continually moved these low-ranking pieces of worldly stature around the board of my life, thinking things would change - that my condition would go away. I was on a losing streak. A win comes when you enlist the Master's strategy. It wasn't until I started journaling and working deliberately to strengthen my relationship with God that the pieces of life started to move in a coordinated strategy designed to win. Win back my self-esteem. Win back my self-love. And allowed my family and friends to love and support me just as I am. C.H.E.S.S.
