Attributed to Raymond L. Bridgman, this public domain work originally published in 1890 lists every military and naval engagement (except the smallest skirmishes), the secession conventions, presidential nominations, calls for troops, peace negotiations, important army movements, and other events of interest that occurred between President Lincoln's nomination in 1860 to the capture of the last Confederate privateer in November 1865.

This book is the only version being sold that has been entirely reset to ensure that all pages are legible, complete, and easy to read. Like all publications from Media Hatchery, there are no missing pages or blurred images -- it's just a clean version of a fascinating work.
