Brianna. There are two families in the book Brianna, and both families include a ten-year-old girl who will be featured. Brianna and Katrina (Kitty) call themselves the Skin Twins. The story covers three years of Brianna's life, from when she begins school at eight years old; she's been homeschooled until then. Kitty joins the story later. The book details surgical aspects of skin grafting and hospital stays and the emotional issues for the two girls and their families.
