This is the first comprehensive study into the problem of the break-up of RMS Titanic's hull, something only recognized as having happened after 1985 when the wreck was positively identified, more than 73 years since the loss of the vessel. Expert author Eugene Nesmeyanov presents a generalized analysis of the currently available data, using both historical data (eyewitness accounts of passengers and crew members from lifeboats as well as from the surface of the water) and underwater archaeology data (photos and video filming of parts of the ship's hull along with mapped debris fields), as well as data obtained using computer simulations.
