Aprašymas

This new book explaining screw fastening technology will be published for those who wish to study (beginner readers) or research (experienced readers) screw fastening. The contents include, for example, a simple phenomenon in which a tensile force is generated in the bolt shaft and a compressive force of the same magnitude is generated in the fastened object when the bolt is tightened (for beginner readers), and a complex phenomenon in which a bolt undergoes tensile fatigue failure when the amplitude of the tensile load on the fastened object exceeds a certain value (for experienced readers). This book introduces the analysis and prevention methods for each of the various failure phenomena that occur in threaded fasteners (coverage of problems that occur). In addition, exercises are provided throughout the book to deepen understanding, not only the final answers, but also the progress along the way.
