James Wilder's quiet, small town life in Warm Springs just got more exciting after getting shot.

It gets personal as someone is framing his only family in the Cove for the murder.

James goes to Woodbury, a small town famous as the former pimento capitol of the world and famous for zombie television. But now it is known for a crime and the clues all point to the Cove. A strange four-mile wide crater plopped onto Pine Mountain, the Cove is a community of dangerous stories and eccentric people.

He navigates the twists and turns in his most outrageous investigation ever, while trying to find his own assassin. If things were not difficult enough, the victim was universally hated, and finding his killer could be bad for James' health. Just another day in the idyllic town of Warm Springs.
