I stopped writing for 10 years as I was recovering. This is my 2nd book my first was published in 2007 titled "what are you looking at". My book also includes some family poems my children have been so supportive over the last 20 years. I started writing poetry whilst attending a day hospital in a creative art group. I had never written anything before, and it seemed a good way off expressing myself and how I was feeling.
