Aprašymas

A seamless blend of fable and philosophy, the Bhagavata Purana is one of the most revered texts in the Vaishnava tradition. Through vivid accounts of gods, asuras, sages, and kings, it brings timeless legends to life while illuminating the ethical and philosophical principles at the heart of Hindu spirituality.

The narrative unfolds through a series of interconnected stories and conversations. We learn how the sage Vyasa, inspired by Narada, composed the Bhagavata Purana to illuminate the path to spiritual realization. Along the way, we encounter the unwavering devotion of Prahlada, the extraordinary austerity of Dhruva, and the blinding pride of Daksha.

The text also recounts the many incarnations of Vishnu, with particular emphasis on Krishna, whose journey from a playful and beloved child to a fearless protector of the faithful forms one of the Purana's most enduring and inspiring narratives.
