This book was written for two reasons. One reason was to tell the stories of my many trips outside the United States for people who have never had the opportunity to travel abroad. The other reason is to give those who have travelled abroad the opportunity to relive some of those experiences and remember the people who travelled with them. The trips have mostly been voluntary except for the two biggest, one was forced by the Army Draft and the other I could not reject when asked to go by my boss.
