For sixteen-year-old Noa Keegan panic attacks are part of life, but this one is different: she wakes up in a parallel universe, Terra, where she is treated as a security risk. Her guard, a nineteen-year-old Sentinel named Avery McTighe, is easily the most serious and mesmerizing person Noa has ever met.

When anti-government rebels kidnap her and Avery, the two of them realize Terra plans to wipe out Earth's population for better access to its resources. Bound together by mutual attraction and a common goal Noa and Avery must find a way to abort Terra's murderous schemes, but when Avery gets injured, their chances are bleak.

Hunted across universes by Terran forces and with the clock ticking down to the annihilation of the human race, Noa has one shot at saving the universe she grew up in--or the Sentinel she's falling in love with.
