His determination, humour and 'one step at a time' attitude bring him small victories, like slowing the disease's progression or not increasing medication levels. Eventually, Deep Brain Stimulation led to some relief, stalling the disease. Amazingly, Frank recently managed to fulfil a lifelong dream to hike in the Antarctic.
He is well aware that Parkinson's will ultimately win, but he is determined to not get ahead of himself, after all tomorrow is another day.
