Sreelakshmi is a model for us to emulate on yet another level. It is indeed remarkable that the poems here come from her observation of the real - not the virtual real. Though a digital native, she seems unburdened by screens that can imprison and throttle her. Butterfly like, she flits freely from one little thing to another, touching them, smelling them, feeling them and conveying to the world, in the most original and natural manner, the impressions they leave on her, through her mellifluous words and images. It's a music that belongs to the long ago for most of us.
