Marcus J. Mastin, author of the Carthage Chronicles thriller series, delivers his second compilation of poetry. With new encounters, new tragedies, and new eerie tales to spin, Mastin returns with a collection of poetry that is just as ambitious and entertaining as his first. For this book, the various themes are separated into six chapters, one of which is a short story. Each poetry section has its own distinctive subject matter, and the short story is a spinoff from the events which transpired in Mastin's horror novel, Don't Fear the Reaper. The verse found in this work touches on various topics such as the effects of war, the loss of a relative, insecurities of being a parent, more terrifying creatures, and controversial subjects.
