According to the scriptures, especially in the New Testament, God calls every one of his disciples to a ministry. In the church, Christ through his Holy Spirit, distributes a diversity of spiritual abilities, known as Spiritual Gifts, to use in the service or ministry to others. These gifts are to be used by each Christian in the congregation to build up the church and extend the gospel to all who do not know Christ.
