The Aviation Maintenance Technician Handbook-Airframe, Volume 2 (FAA-H-8083-31A), is the latest revision developed by the Federal Aviation administration (FAA). Released in 2018, this new edition reflects current technologies, equipment and procedures.

This handbook is one of a series of three handbooks for persons preparing for the certification exams required for obtaining an Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) certificate with Airframe or Powerplant rating or both (FAA A&P license).
