Australian Crocodiles (el. knyga) (skaityta knyga) | knygos.lt

This new, fully updated edition of the classic title Australian Crocodiles: A Natural History  uncovers the ‘private lives’ of both Freshwater and Saltwater Crocodiles, taking a detailed  and eye-opening look into the world of these iconic reptiles.

Chapters cover the reproduction, growth, movement, behaviour, habitats and foods of the  two Australian croc species. There are also sections examining attacks on humans, the  history of crocodile hunting and crocodile farming in Australia and the surveying, catching

and handling of these impressive reptiles. There is also a section outlining the other species of  crocodile found around the world.

The book was first published in 1989 and much has happened since then to increase our  knowledge and understanding of these awesome animals. This new edition incorporates all the latest information and images, as well as maintaining valuable historic data and old  photos, in particular charting the evolving relationships between humans and crocs over the  decades as the mindset has changed from hunting to conservation.

The expert authors have collated all the latest information and photos to make this the most  up-to-date ‘must-have’ volume available on the subject.
