Aprašymas

So far, he seems to have managed everything with ease: Frederic Reitmayr is forty-three and has just been elected a partner at the law firm Flachs & Delk. Coming from a humble background, he has actually achieved it all. A corner office, partnership in a law firm and the long-awaited sports car. Were it not for the multi-supervisory board member Burchardt, who is constantly trying to hassle him, and his nose-ring-wearing assistant Constanze Neuhaus, who is more interested in Reitmayr's best friend Seydler than any of the three would care for. When an auditor is killed in an accident, Reitmayr comes under the scrutiny of the investigating authorities. But before Reitmayr can react, his former life is suddenly falling apart, and the question is: how do you defend yourself when you can no longer defend yourself?
