A timely popular science book (not religious in focus) detailing and discussing the great developments in modern science, which most assuredly do not support the naturalist/materialist worldview that has become commonly promoted in the mainstream. After introducing the main elements of the discussion, the book deals with the fundamental developments in physics and cosmology over the past century which strongly point to a theistic basis to the Universe. Then the book outlines the many counterarguments to these concepts and consequently provides detailed rebuttals to each in turn. Later chapters discuss other areas of science involved in the wider debate such as consciousness, free-will and biological evolution.
