This book gives an idea to its readers about the basics of evaluating antioxidant nature of herbal constituents, the relation of free radical scavenging activity with its chemical nature and its role in safe guarding the skin from deleterious external environment. A clinical relevance of some herbal drugs is also discussed with an approach to incorporate new vision in making novel drug delivery system for photoprotective herbs, in order to maximize their effect.
