This volume examines Arabic language teaching and learning in Islamic schools within English-dominant Muslim-minority contexts in the West. The Islamic schooling sector in the West has experienced rapid growth, driven by the rising demand for faith-based education among Muslim families. Islamic schools aspire to nurture and preserve Islamic identity and foster connections with the wider Muslim community by offering Qur¿¿n, Islamic studies, and Arabic language programs.
