Angelica has a 150-pound Newfoundland dog named Bear that she loves dearly. But Bear is getting old and has trouble standing up and going outside to do his business. Angelica starts to cry. "You mean kill him, don't you?" Then her mother starts to cry. "I am so sorry Angelica. I love Bear too!" Angelica goes over to Bear. She picks up one of his huge paws and looks into his big brown eyes. "Bear, I promise that I will try to make sure that you are not put to sleep just because you have trouble going outside to pee. Even if I have to fight gravity, I will invent some sort of device that helps you."
