Rodyti daugiauTai knyga apie senovės Egipto magijos istoriją. Kadangi mano pagrindinė deivė yra Basteta ir jaučiu nepaaiškinamą potraukį Egiptui – ši knyga mane sudomino. Skaitėsi tikrai nesunkiai, nors atrodo turėjo būti sudėtinga. Tai istorinė knyga, o ne praktinė. Pirmajame skyriuje kalbama apie žodinius ir rašytinius burtus, kuriuos naudojo egiptiečiai. Sužinojau, kad rašyti ir skaityti senovės Egipte galėjo tik labai mažas procentas gyventojų – pagrinde aukšto rango vyrai. Antrajame skyriuje pasakojama, kas buvo magais ir žyniai. Liūdna, kad moterys negalėjo būti magėmis nors tokių buvo. Įdomu buvo susipažinti, kad buvo įvairių statusų magų. Trečias skyrius yra apie Mirusiųjų pasaulį ir mumijas. Ketvirtame skyriuje pasakojama apie gyvūnus ir dievus. Labiausiai, žinoma, man patiko skaityti apie kates. Penktajame skyriuje kalbama apie mediciną, kuri nebuvo tokia, kokią galėtume įsivaizduoti. Šeštasis skyrius yra apie seksualinę sveikatą, meilę, vaikus. Septintasis skyrius yra apie pranašystes, sapnus, orakulus. Aštuntasis skyrius apima šiuos laikus. Knyga man tikrai patiko: labai daug sužinojau dalykų apie senovės Egiptą. Ir knygoje gausu nuotraukų susijusių su rašoma tema skyriuose. Senai nebuvau taip pasinėręs į istorinę knygą. Rekomenduoju visiems, kas domisi senovės Egiptu ir magija naudota tais laikais.
