Ana y el Unicornio Púrpura (Ana and the Purple Unicorn) is a bilingual Spanish book for ages 8 and up. The story takes a young girl (Ana) going into situations that will take her into a new world of possibilities. Book number 1 of the series The Lost City of Teyuna. Better known as "La Ciudad Perdida" (the lost city, it was hidden in the dense forest for centuries. Today is part of the pre-Colombian ruins, open to the adventurers and safe to visit. The indigenous inhabitants of the Sierra Nevada where this city is located, still hold these ruins sacred and carry out rituals there. This city was not revealed to the outside world until tomb raiders stumbled across it in 1972. Today, it can only be reached on foot by a professionally led hike that takes four to six days to complete. What happened before the coming of the conquistadors is kept secret by today's tribes. This book teaches virtues of the heart like appreciation, valor, love, kindness, freedom, truth, harmony and honor as our characters travel to Teyuna to unveil secrets and change the course of history.
